Clarifying your values (your inner preferences, rules or standards) can make it clearer for you when making choices, and running your life. If you’re in doubt, you can refer back to your values to help you make a decision. By prioritising your most important values, you will make better decisions and develop more effective relationships.

Since our values change from time to time, often after reflection or certain events in our lives, it is useful to review and consider our values regularly.

Ush took me through her values exercise recently on our podcast, IQ meets EQ. I have done values exercises before, but I haven’t done an exercise like this that prioritises the values into an order.

Here’s my results:

  1. Learning
  2. Freedom
  3. Fairness
  4. SErvice
  5. Integrity
  6. Competence
  7. Adventure

Here’s the exercise: VALUES-EXERCISE
